Our History

James T. and Rose M. Perryman were a loving, happily married couple, proud and encouraging role models for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and founders of the Perryman Company based in Houston, Pennsylvania. The Perrymans became leaders in their industry by building a company focused on innovation and quality products. The Perryman Company continues to value its employees, exceptional workmanship, and a culture of open communication. 

James and Rose always felt a strong desire to give back to their community. Through the years they have done so by supporting multiple charities around the world. In 2015  James and Rose established The Perryman Foundation to provide for the education of the next generation of innovators. Since its founding, the Foundation has provided over $2 million in financial support for over 30 college students. 

On September 24, 2020, Mr. Perryman passed away  surrounded by his family.  Before his passing he frequently talked about his pride in all of the Perryman Scholars and what they have accomplished. Rose continues the family’s commitment to supporting students through the Foundation, and it is her hope that scholarship recipients will one day help others to succeed.
