History of the Perryman Foundation
James T. and Rose M. Perryman were a devoted couple, inspiring role models for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and founders of the Perryman Company in Houston, Pennsylvania. Together, they built a company celebrated for its innovation, commitment to quality, and dedication to its employees and a culture of open communication.
The Perrymans held a deep belief in giving back to their community. Over the years, they supported numerous charitable organizations around the globe. In 2015, James and Rose established the Perryman Foundation to create educational opportunities for future innovators. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships, benefitting over 100 college students.
James Perryman passed away on September 24, 2020. Before his passing, he often spoke with pride about the achievements of the Perryman Scholars. Rose continued their shared mission, supporting students through the Foundation and fostering a vision that scholarship recipients would one day pay it forward to help others succeed.
Rose Perryman passed away on April 7, 2024. She exemplified humility, entrepreneurial spirit, and an unwavering dedication to nurturing future leaders. Her profound legacy lives on through the Foundation, which remains committed to empowering the next generation of innovators, engineers, nurses, and technologists.
